Family Reentry (CRJ) Rebrand & 40th Anniversary Celebration

Working for Family Reentry was an absolute blessing. They reached out to me in need of a quick brand pivot when a nearby recovery center had secured naming rights that was too similar to their own. What started out as a small ask turned into a creative wildfire! I helped Family Reentry identify their brand painpoints and launch into a new era, leaving them with a fresh, clean, and most of all, human brand that helped them cross the threshold and celebrate 40 years of serving the community!

In addition to the new design, brand, and guidelines I created for them, I assisted in copy writing, interior design, photography, and even a short film for one of their specialty programs. “The Women of RISE” short film documented the clients in-said program, and lead into the 40th anniversary celebration/fundraiser which I helped direct. I created a sub-brand for the fashion show and helped document/run it at the amazing venue “The Knowlton” In Bridgeport, CT in October of 2024. We raised well over $100,000!!

Family Reentry is on their way to success and more in 2025, and along with CRJ, I’m looking forward to working with them very soon!

Below is the short film I made documenting the women in the RISE program. Their tenacity and tales illustrate just how powerful one’s determination into reentry and recovery can be. The second video is a recap of the amazing, inaugural RISE & Bloom fashion show that visionary Vernice Holmes helped bring to life.

I invite you to view both, and learn more about how you can contribute to Family Reentry | CRJ, or make an impact in your own community!
